“A revelation of singing, of enormous illumination,
and a sheer joy to be able to take part in… A very special privilege”

What is the Friends of TSSS? Why join the Friends of TSSS?

Directed by Peter Phillips, the Tallis Scholars Summer Schools are choral courses dedicated to exploring our great heritage of renaissance choral music, and to developing a performance style appropriate to it, as pioneered by the Tallis Scholars. Participants gather from all corners of the globe to enjoy a week of music-making and learning in the beautiful rural setting of Oakham School in Rutland, UK and at Seattle University, USA. The course is open to singers aged 16 years and over, and we welcome participants from the UK and overseas.
